As with the pre-filing
credit counseling session, the post-filing session can be done in person, over
the phone, or online, but where the pre-filing session lasts for approximately
one hour, the post-filing session will generally last for up to two hours.
Fees
for the post-filing debtor education will range from $50 to $100, unless you ask
for and obtain a waiver from the counselor prior to your session. You will receive
a certificate as proof that you have completed the post-filing debtor education.
This is a separate certificate to the certificate you received prior to filing
for bankruptcy.
